Hope and Friendship continues to Warm Hearts and Lift Spirits

There are 12 days left to participate in the at-home Community Service opportunity, or sign up to participate in person on Feb. 12th

Friends of Hope and Friendship have been getting a jump start to the annual “Warm a Heart” outreach, by helping with our at-home opportunity for Community Service. (Thank you so very much to all who have helped us get an amazing jump start to make this the biggest and best "Warm a Heart" event EVER!!!)

We WILL be gathering in person on Sat. Feb 12th at Old Quarry Middle School and we have hands on spots available for those who wish to join us from 8-10am to create snack sacks, sack lunches, and/or Ziploc hygiene bags,or help by delivering to Joliet or around Lemont area.

Prior to our in person day of Sat. Feb 12th, we are continuing to invite all to help us create snack sacks for homeless, seniors, and homebound, and/or gallon bags of goodness for Convoy of Hope to use for their disaster response in the comfort of your own home, youth group, Bible study/small group, or whatever gathering you wish!

Please follow the directives in filling the brown sacks and gallon bags.

All completed sacks/bags, and donations to help us create hundreds more, can be dropped off to the bin in the entryways of Old Quarry Middle School, or the Lemont Police Department by Friday February 11th.

Please keep track of your time; email for information on who/where to get your Community Service Sheets signed.

**Wish List of Donations (please drop off to Old Quarry entryway by Fri. Feb 11th): boxes of individual snacks (granola bars, breakfast bars, cookies, cheese/crackers, pretzels, etc.); packages of gum; wrapped hard candy; toothbrush (packaged); toothpaste (regular size); comb; hand towels (new); stick deodorant (men/womens/unisex); shampoo (3 oz- travel size); bar of soap (regular size- wrapped); gallon size boxes of Ziploc bags; $5 gift cards to McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, or Subway.
