Hounds to Strut Costumed Stuff at Hooowl-a-Ween

Lemont dog owners will prove Sunday that kids aren’t the only ones who can look cute in costumes.

Dressed-up dogs and their owners are invited to join in the fun Oct. 25 at Lemont Township’s Hooowl-a-Ween from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at Central Bark Dog Park.

Admission is free, and includes costume contest for dogs at 2:15 p.m. and trick contest at 2:45 p.m. Rescue groups will also showcase pets for adoption, along with vendors presenting pet products an services. Proceeds of a 50/50 raffle will benefit Lemont Township-assisted pet owners with veterinary emergencies and pet-related costs.

Donations of pet food and items are welcomed.
