Hummingbird Fest Planned At Sagawau Learning Center

LEMONT, IL — A Hummingbird Fest will be held in August at Sagawau Environmental Learning Center in Lemont. The fest will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 20.

According to the Cook County Forest Preserve website, guests can head to the fest for activities, and viewing and demos of how the birds are banded for tracking and research. The fest is free.

The learning center is at 12545 W. 111th St.
