Ice And Lights Fest Returns To Downtown Lemont
The fest will kick off Lemont's 150th anniversary celebrations.
LEMONT, IL — The second annual Ice and Lights Fest will kick off the 150th anniversary celebration of Lemont. The fest will be held from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 21 in downtown Lemont.
The fest will feature 20 business-sponsored ice sculptures around the downtown, and Nate Johnson will return to this year's event to do a live ice carving starting at 4 p.m. in front of Hayes, 105 Stephen St.
There will also be a dance party on Front Street with free light tubes and tambourines from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

The Lemont Tractor Club will be giving free hayrides around the downtown, weather permitting. Families can also pay a visit to Belle, Elsa and Olaf at Three Stories Books, 310 Canal St.
The ice sculptures will stay on display until they melt away. Lemont's holiday light display, Lighting Up Lemont, will also be on display through Jan. 31.
