Inaugural Art On The Green Planned In Downtown Lemont

LEMONT, IL — For the first time, the Art and Culture Commission of Lemont will hold Art on the Green in downtown Lemont on Oct. 7-8.

The two-day event will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

The event will showcase local artists, who will display and sell their work, according to the Village.

Art on the Green also celebrates National Arts and Humanities month; which focuses on access to the arts, encouraging people to participate in the arts, allowing governments and businesses to show support of the arts, and raising awareness about the positive impact of the arts.
