Keepataw Day Parade Steps Off Sunday

LEMONT, IL — The Keepataw Day Parade will step off at 1 p.m. Sunday, followed by a Fun Fest at the Metra parking lot in downtown Lemont.

The parade will start at Main and Stephen streets, proceed down Main Street and make a right at Turnabout up to Illinois Street. It will continue down Illinois and finish at the corner of Illinois and Lemont Street.

The Fun Fest will begin immediately after the parade in the Metra parking lot until 10 p.m. and will feature inflatables, live bands, games, food vendors, a beer tent and craft tents.

Parade organizers recently announced Al Albrecht as the 2022 parade grand marshal.
