Lacrosse Club of Lemont: Playoffs and All-Conference Honors

The Lacrosse Club of Lemont (the Lemont High School lacrosse team) is proud to announce that the following players have received all-conference honors:

• Mike Lyewski, Junior – 1st team defense
• Lorenzo Cutinello, Freshman – 2nd team face-off
• Scott Lacny, Junior – 2nd team midfield
• Joe Baffoe, Senior – Honorable mention attack
• Jimmy Small, Junior – Honorable mention midfield

The Club has also recently concluded their regular season. The JV squad finished with a 12-5 record. Four of those losses were with a margin of 2 or fewer goals. This is the best showing by a JV team in Club history. The Varsity finished with a record of 8-9 which earned them a spot in the IHSLA state playoffs. Lemont will be hosting Homewood Flossmoor at Lemont High School on Monday, May 23. Game time is 7:00. Everyone is invited to come out and cheer on the team.
