Lemont Adopts New Public Engagement Platform
The village said it is making it easier for residents to publicly participate in the community by using Polco.

LEMONT, IL — The village of Lemont has announced the launch of Polco, an engagement platform where residents can give direct input to the local government decision-making process. The village said it is making it easier for residents to publicly participate in the community by using Polco.
Questions will be posted on the platform, where residents can then answer and comment on the questions. The village is asking residents who attended Heritage Fest to give feedback on their experience. It will continue to ask for more input on a variety of topics in the coming weeks and months.
"Obtaining input from residents is an ongoing objective for the village board and staff," Mayor John Egofske said in a release. "We need residents' feedback on decisions that are being made now that will influence the character of Lemont for years to come. We are asking our residents to sign up to be notified when a survey is posted, and to provide feedback to our surveys."
