Lemont Cancels 30th Annual Heritage Fest
The village has canceled Heritage Fest, which usually features entertainment and food in downtown Lemont.

LEMONT, IL — The 30th annual Heritage Fest, which is usually held in July in downtown Lemont, has been canceled, the villaged recently shared.
“As we move into Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois plan, for the health and safety of all, it is apparent that our annual Heritage Fest event will not be able to take place this year,” Mayor John Egofske said in a release. “We must adhere to the guidelines put in place that limits the number of people allowed at such an event. Heritage Fest fills the streets of downtown Lemont with thousands of people each year and brings the entire community and visitors together for an enjoyable day of food, music and fun, and it will certainly be missed this year.”
While many events have been canceled this summer, some events are still planned, albeit with some modifications. The Lemont Cruise Nights - Limited Edition have returned to downtown Lemont and the park district continues to host drive-in movie nights in July and August.
