Lemont Cop On A Rooftop Raises Over $10K For Special Olympics
Lemont police officers raised over $10,000 for Special Olympics Illinois during the Cop On A Rooftop event.

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Police Department was able to raised over $10,000 during it's Cop On A Rooftop fundraiser on May 18. Chief Marc Maton thanked the community for its support and shared the department was able to raise $10,154.89 to benefit Special Olympics Illinois.
"I would like to thank the police officers, staff and volunteers for assisting with this event," Maton wrote in a thank you to the community. "Our appreciation also goes to B-96 WBBM-FM Radio, Staley and the Monster Squad of the Chicago Bears organization and the staff of both Lemont Dunkin Donuts for making this the best year yet!"
Maton also thanked Mayor John Egofske, Lemont Village Trustees, the Citizen's Police Academy Alumni Association, Lemont Public Works, Terri O’Neil from Hope & Friendship and Dunkin Donuts Corporation.
