Curbside pick-up services will begin June 8 at the library, and will be offered 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

LEMONT, IL — Lemont Public Library will begin offering curbside pick-up services on June 8. The library said pick-up will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The library is still closed to the public, but holds can be placed on Lemont Library items only. Delivery between libraries is not available currently. The book drop at the library will open on May 27, and late fees on items will be waived until Aug. 31, the library said.
The library shared its own reopening plan on its Facebook page. The library's phase 2 will begin June 1, with pick-up beginning June 8 and the virtual summer reading challenge begins June 15.

Phase 3 will start at a to be determined date, and at that point, the library will reopen to the public with capacity and service limitations. According to the plan, there will still be no face-to-face programming in phase 3 or until further notice. When the library opens, patrons will be required to wear a protective face covering.
Phase 4 will be when the library returns to regular hours and full service, which will be dependent on guidelines issued by health authorities and governing bodies, the library said.
