Lemont Library Plans Library Zoo

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Public Library will host a zoo at the library on Sept. 12. The event, sponsored by the Friends of the Library, will be held from 12 to 4 p.m. at the library.

According to the event page, there will be chickens, pigs, goats, sheep, a donkey, rabbits and a llama at the event. Advanced registration is required, and there will only be 20 people for each timed ticket entry group.

Each group can stay in the petting zoo area for their allotted time period. They can also bring a picnic lunch and relax in the socially distant sitting area after meeting the animals.
