Lemont Native, 33, Dies While Ice Fishing in Wisconsin
Brandon Rogers never returned from his excursion two days after Christmas.

Friends of a Lemont native who died while ice fishing in Wisconsin are raising funds for the man’s wife and two daughters.
Brandon Rogers, 33, died Dec. 27 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. He had spent the day ice fishing and called to tell his wife Nichole that he was coming home, but friends say “he never made it off the ice.” He was an electrician who loved fishing, hunting, and the outdoors.
“He had a beautiful wife Nichole and two young girls, Desirae and Mia,” wrote the GoFundMe organizer. “He moved his wife and kids to Bloomer in June to pursue his career with Riverside Electric in Menomonee. They decided on Bloomer to be close to friends as they had no family close by.”
