Lemont Park District Plans Drive-In Movies

LEMONT, IL — Lemont Park District is planning several drive-in movies this summer at Centennial Park, 16028 W. 127th St. You can bring your own snacks and blankets and enjoy a movie. It is $5 per car and space is limited, so it is first come, first served.

All attendees must be with a vehicle; walk-ups or sitting in the grass is not allowed.

"We want to be able to provide opportunities for the community to recreate as much as possible during this time, while keeping a safe distance and following state guidelines," Lauren Hanson, Special Event Manager and Marketing Relations, told Patch.

Here are the dates for drive-in movies this summer:

• June 12, "Groundhog Day," 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
• June 16, "Frozen 2," 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
• June 23, "Jurassic Park," 8 to 11 p.m.
• July 10, "Toy Story 4," 8 to 11 p.m.
• July 14, "Space Jam," 8 to 11 p.m.
• July 21, "Yesterday," 8 to 11 p.m.
• July 28, "A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood," 8 to 11 p.m.
• Aug. 4, "A Cinderella Story," 8 to 11 p.m.
• Aug. 14, "Adventures in Babysitting," 8 to 11 p.m.
• Aug. 21, "Shazam," 8 to 11 p.m.
