Lemont Plans Second Zoom Town Hall For Business Owners

LEMONT, IL — The village of Lemont will hold a second Zoom business town hall to support and provide resources for small businesses in town. The town hall will be held via Zoom at 10:30 a.m. Friday.

This week, the village said it will discuss helping self-employed workers; the federal CARES Act, economic injury disaster loans and other loan programs.

Lori Ritzert, vice president of small business banking at Hinsdale Bank & Trust, Mike Ronchetti, SCORE Fox Valley and Certified Business Mentor, Kevin Lynch from the Small Business Development Center at Joliet Junior College, Lemont resident and managing director for a commercial real estate investment group, Jason Schiffman, will return to discuss conversations happening now between landlords and tenants.

"This will be an interactive opportunity to learn, ask questions, and share your own experience and resources with your fellow Lemont business owners," said Jason Berry, economic and community development director.
