Next Sunday March 6th, Lemont Police Again Join Lemont Fire in Making Hair Go Goodbye
The Lemont PD team and Lemont FD team will meet on March 5th and become one team for the kids.
For the 3rd year I will be joined by a few of my amazing brothers in blue on a day that hair will be optional.
One of my teammates is the amazing Officer Ralph who spends time in the classrooms of District 113a offering his mentoring and heart to our kids.
One of my teammates I proudly herald as a cancer survivor. And myself—I have been impacted by not just one but many losses to the enemy of cancer and have rallied funds and support for many who are waging their own battles on their journey to be survivors.
I have been humbled and honored to lead a team of my brothers in Blue to join in effort and heart with our Lemont Fire team who are impassioned on this cause having first hand experienced the loss of a child to cancer of their beloved team Captain Christian Ganz. Proud of his and all of their determination to raise funds to battle and defeat pediatric cancer.
