Lemont Township Pauses In-Person Lunches At Community Center

LEMONT, IL — Lemont Township has closed its Community Cafe until further notice due to Cook County's vaccine mandate. The township normally offers lunches during the week to older adults at the cafe, 16300 Alba St.

The township said it will continue to serve lunches to-go, as well as its Meals on Wheels program. You can call Irene at 630-257-0515 to order lunches.

"Stay well and safe, we hope to be open for in-person meals and Bingo very soon," the township said on its Facebook page.
