Lemont's Independence Day Extravaganza: Food, Music, Kids Activities
The DJ, food and beer station open at 4 p.m. on July 3; with Super Stolie performing at 4:30 p.m.
LEMONT, IL — Lemont's annual Independence Day Extravaganza is quickly approaching on July 3.
The event includes a DJ, food vendors, beer station, kids entertainment, live music, and of course, fireworks. Attendees can head out to Lemont Park District's Centennial Park, and bring chairs and blankets to sit on.
The DJ, food and beer station open at 4 p.m. on July 3; with Super Stolie performing at 4:30 p.m. Live music by Prairie Station will begin at 6 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

According to the park district website, there will also be balloon artists, inflatables and other activities for children. Food vendors include Digs on Canal featuring Gelsosomo's Pizza, Totura's Sausage, Smokin' Z BBQ, Tap House, Mr. Salty's, Creamery, and Joey's Red Hots.
The simulcast station for the fireworks show will be 104.1 FM.

Parking for the event is available until lots are full at Lemont Park District, Old Quarry Middle School and the Lemont Township Community Center.
