An in-person ceremony is also being planned tentatively for the end of July, but will depend on local and state health guidelines.
LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School will celebrate its seniors a little differently this year with a virtual graduation due to the coronavirus. The high school will host its virtual graduation on May 30, Director of School and Community Relations Tony Hamilton told Patch.
The ceremony will be available to view at 12 p.m. Saturday on the school's website and social media.
The school will also have the class of 2020 Drive-Up Diploma Dash on May 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Hamilton said. Graduates will have a designated 45-minute window based on their last name to come to campus and pick up their diploma and get a picture taken.
