LHS Softball Holds Queen Of Hearts Raffle

LEMONT, IL — The LHS softball team is holding a Queen of Hearts 50/50 progressive raffle to benefit the team. The raffle has been running for five weeks already, and the current jackpot is $2,500.

Tickets are drawn at 7 p.m. every Wednesday, and are sold every day at 3 Corners Grill and Tap, 12371 Derby Road, in Lemont. According to the team, it is $5 for one ticket, $10 for three tickets and $20 for seven tickets; and you must be over 18 to purchase tickets.

The Queen of Hearts raffle involves 54 playing cards, including the two jokers, placed face down. A card is selected and turned over and placed face up. If the Queen of Heart card is not selected the game will roll over to the next week.
