Library's Summer Learning Wrap-Up Party Planned For August

LEMONT, IL — Although it may not seem like it, we're already halfway through summer, which means that the summer learning program at the Lemont Library is also halfway over.

The library will hold its summer learning wrap-up party on Aug. 6 from 6 to 8 p.m.

According to the library newsletter, the outdoor after-hours event will include music from "Friendly Fire," and food by Big Ed's BBQ Shed. The event is sponsored by The Friends of the Library.

The library's summer learning program ends July 31, and you can participate by reading a book, listening to a podcast, watching a documentary, attending a library program, doing a science experiment, learning a new recipe, and more. You can then log that activity through the app Beanstack, and begin to win prizes and participate in raffles.
