LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program)
Need some help with your energy bills? See if you qualify for the LIHEAP Program.

The Illinois Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is designed to assist eligible low income households pay for winter energy services. LIHEAP will provide a one-time benefit to eligible households to be used for energy bills. The amount of payment is determined by income, household size, fuel type, and geographic location. In order to qualify for the benefit program, you must be a resident of the state of Illinois and must need financial assistance for home energy costs. Your total gross household may not exceed 150% of poverty limit.
A representative from CEDA will be at Lemont Township on Thursday, February 12 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. to help residents apply for this assistance program. Certain qualifications and documentation is necessary to process application. Please call the Township at 630-257-2522
