Little Mountain Community Theatre Plans Spring Fundraiser

LEMONT, IL — Little Mountain Community Theatre will host its spring fundraiser, "Broadway Bound," from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. March 6 at the Quarry Pub & Grill. The theatre said the event will feature a variety of LMCT entertainers performing their favorite show tunes.

Tickets are $25 and include live entertainment and an all-you-can-eat pizza and salad buffet. A cash bar will also be available.

The theatre said doors open at 6:30 p.m, and the show will start at 7 p.m.

“We’re excited to entertain the Lemont community in a cabaret format,” Sandy Doebert, president of the LMCT board, said in a release. “We welcome everyone to come out for a unique, fun-filled evening that will support LMCT and it’s efforts to bring high-quality entertainment to this area.”

The Lemont-based organization is now in its seventh season. In the summer, the theatre will bring a production of "Children of Eden" to the stage. The theatre said it will also host a two-week acting workshop for children entering grades 2-8, which will provide the experience of creating and performing a production of "The Wizard of Oz Jr."

Lastly, in August, the organization will partner with The Forge: Lemont Quarries. The Forge will host The Chicagoland Pops Orchestra in a unique, family-friendly concert at its state-of-the-art outdoor amphitheatre.
