The supermarket chain is hiring store associates, shift managers and manager trainees for its stores in Alsip, Blue Island, Bridgeview, Calumet City, Calumet Park, Chicago Heights, Dixmoor, Glenwood, Hazel Crest, Lansing, Oak Forest and South Holland. ALDI’s is said to offer wages and benefits higher than the national average for the retail industry. Depending on location, store associates start at $12 to $13.50 and shift managers $16.50 to $18 per hour. Manager trainees earn $54,900-$56,190 annually ($22.25-$22.75 per hour), with an opportunity to earn $82,000 to $94,000 as a store manager. Employees work 25 hours or more per week are eligible for full healthcare and dental benefits.
