Meet the Team at Rosebud Lemont!

The front-of-house team is led by Bobby Hitz and Marco Micheli, who are both well known for their work in the Chicago dining scene and are excited to share their expertise with the Lemont community.

Hitz is a lifelong restaurant entrepreneur, Chicago personality, boxing promoter, and a friend of Rosebud for more than 30 years. Hitz started his career as a professional fighter and later went on to start his own company, Hitz Boxing, that regularly hosts highly-attended boxing events across Chicago. Many know him as the big guy seen with the toughest fighters around, but in the restaurant world, he’s known as the friendly restauranteur ensuring guests feel welcome as soon as they walk in the door.

The team at Rosebud Lemont knows the importance of creating a menu and atmosphere that brings families and friends together. Hitz and Micheli have been working alongside Rosebud Restaurants founder, Alex Dana, to bring the feeling of the “Sunday Dinner” tradition to Lemont. Everyone wants to be Italian on Sundays!

Speaking of sharing traditions, Rosebud Lemont has started one of their very own: Live entertainment performances every weekend! Featuring live music from all decades and genres, the space has become a hotspot when it comes to weekend celebrations. Micheli has been with Rosebud Restaurants since 2015 and works in restaurant operations overseeing Rosebud locations across downtown Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Over the last 7 years, he has been an integral part in the continued success of the iconic Chicago restaurant group.
