Frank J. Kovacic, born February 9, 1927. Loving husband of the late Florence nee Furman for 57 years. Beloved father of 6 daughters; Kathleen (Gery) Gasick, Judy (Mark) Carmen, Peggy (Joe) Zlogar, Tina (Christopher) Carmen, Joy (Mike) Hall and Lora (Dan) Murphy. Adored grandfather of 13; Jeff, Zach, Christina, Marisa, Nick, Victoria, Alexandria, Elisabeth, Trevor, Michael, Rachel, Kevin and Paige. Great-grandfather of Evelyn. Dear brother of Bill (Gerie) Kovacic, Dorothy (the late George) Woynovich, the late Marilyn (Bill) Zalokar and Donald. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Proud member of Carpenters Local #1, Life Member of Chicago Federation of Musicians, Lodges SNPJ and KSKJ. Accordion player and band leader of the Frank Kovacic Orchestra. Our Dad loved building homes, playing his music and most of all loved his family and friends. He was a blessing to all, lit up a room with his smiling face—how he will be missed! The family of Frank Kovacic invites relatives and friends to a celebration of life Mass on Monday, January 18 at St. Joseph Church, 416 N. Chicago St., Joliet, Ill, 60432 at 11 a.m. Interment private. Family will receive relatives and friends from 10 a.m. until time of Mass 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church. Interment is private.
