Metra Offers Special Saturday Train Stops In Lemont
The special Saturday service will provide three round-trip trains, also offering Metra's new bike cars.
LEMONT, IL — Metra will once again offer special Saturday excursions, "Rails, Trails and Ales," on the Heritage Corridor Line this fall, according to a release from Metra.
The trips allow area residents to explore bike and running paths, festivals, craft breweries, restaurants and more along the Heritage Corridor Line between Chicago Union Station and Joliet.
The special Saturday service will provide three round-trip trains, also offering Metra's new bike cars, according to a release. The service will run from Sept. 9 through Oct. 14.

The Heritage Corridor Line will stop in Joliet, Lockport, Romeoville, Lemont, Willow Springs, Summit and Chicago. From Joliet to Chicago, trains will stop in Lemont at 8:21 a.m., 2:06 p.m. and 6:51 p.m.
From Chicago to Joliet, trains will stop in Lemont at 11:11 a.m., 4:56 p.m. and 8:41 p.m.
