New Kettering Park Now Open

LEMONT, IL — The new Kettering Park, in the Kettering subdivision, is now open, the Lemont Park District shared.

The park is open and ready for play, although some additional plantings and landscaping will be completed when the weather is suitable, the park district said.

The park, at 13948 Anne Drive, features a state-of-the-art playground, shading and seating elements, a solar charging station, open space, and off-street parking spaces.

A ribbon cutting event will be held in the fall.
