Old Quarry Eighth Grader Beata Drozda qualified for the I.E.S.A. State Finals in Girls Cross Country on Oct 12th.
Beata competed in Bloomington on Oct 19th and placed 43rd out of the best 200 runners in the highest class , 3A. Her time of 12:18 for the 2 mile race was close to her personal best of 2:15. Beata has now qualified for the State Meet for the third straight year.
