Old Quarry Middle School Wrestling Team Finishes with 13 Placers at SDEAA Conference Tourney

Head Coach Tom Ambrose brought his grapplers to the SDEAA Conference tournament this past weekend at Darien Eisenhower and the team shined with great performances. Out of 19 weight classes, OQ came away with 9 Champs, one 2nd place and three, 3rd place finishers. Champions included: Cooper Mikolajczak, Evan Schiffman, Cameron Nagel, Grant Laduke, Alex Tagler, Drew Nash, Kyle Zator, Apollo Gothard and Kyle Devitt. 2nd Place finisher: Jake Zator. Third Place Finishers: Maddox Swanstrom, Blake McGrath, and Mike Mussallem. OQ also earned a 1st place trophy for ending the season undefeated in dual meets with a record of 7-0.
