On the Agenda: Village, Planning Boards Meet Tonight
The village board Committee of the Whole will meet at 7 p.m. in the Large Training Room of the Lemont Police Department, 14600 127th St.
According to the agenda for tonight’s meeting, the Lemont Village Board will hear/discuss:
- A presentation of FY 2012 Audit
- A presentation of Police Pension Fund Actuarial
- Covington Knolls Unit 1 Final Plat (Planning and Zoning Commission and village staff recommend approval for12 lots along Overton Drive in Covington Knolls Subdivision)
The COW meeting will be followed by a special joint meeting of the village board and planning and zoning commission at 7:30 p.m. Both meetings are open to the public.
At the joint meeting, village board and planning and zoning commission members are scheduled to discuss electronic message centers and sign illumination.

Village staff is seeking direction from village officials on maximum size, minimum display time, colors, locations and other issues relating to electronic message centers.
