Over 700 Without Power In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — Winter weather Wednesday in Lemont has caused power outages throughout town. According to the ComEd power outage map, there are 565 without power in Lemont and 178 without power in Lemont Township.

For one outage, the estimated restoration was listed as 8 a.m. Wednesday, the other was listed at 8:15 a.m.

The power outages come after Lemont was issued a winter weather advisory until 10 a.m. Wednesday. Wet snow is expected, occasionally mixing with sleet, the weather service said. 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected.
