Park District Plans Touch-A-Truck, Arbor Day Celebration In April
The park district already has several event on tap for spring.
LEMONT, IL — Warmer weather and spring showers are just a few weeks away, and the Lemont Park District has several community events on tap for the spring.
In April, the park district has plans for an Arbor Day Celebration and a touch-a-truck event.
The Arbor Day celebration will be held April 28 from noon to 1 at the Centennial Community Center. Guests can join the park district's preschool program for a butter aviary, a visit from Seemore the Eagle, and the dedication of a Little Free Library, according to the park district website.

Next up will be a touch-a-truck event on April 29 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Old Quarry Middle School parking lot. The free event will feature trucks, cars and other types of vehicles, according to the park district website.
