• Scarecrow Trail 2026 Returns Sept. 26 (patch.com) — Lemont families, businesses and organizations are invited to design scarecrows for the returning Scarecrow Trail at the Lemont Township Community Center, opening Sept. 26. Displays will run through Nov. 1, with community voting on favorites due by Oct. 18 under the patriotic theme "Stars, Stripes and Scarecrows: Scarecrows Salute America's 250."
