Pathlights Plans Community Events For Older Adults In Lemont

The first event, "Pathlights 101," will be at Franciscan Village, 1270 Village Drive, at 2 p.m. on May 24.

LEMONT, IL — Pathlights, an organization which supports aging adults, has events planned in Lemont in May and June.

The organization said there will be a "Pathlights 101" event at Franciscan Village, 1270 Village Drive, at 2 p.m. on May 24.

Attendees can learn about services in place to assist older adults, soon to be older adults and caregivers, according to the organization. There will also be discussion of social services, programs and qualifications, as well as a Q&A.

The organization has also planned a "Bingo Buddies" event at 1 p.m. on June 22 at Lemont Public Library, 50 E. Wend St. The free event is open for all ages.

According to the organization, older adults sign up to be paired with a child, to play a few rounds of Bingo together. The event is sponsored by Franciscan Village, and registration is required.
