Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Amtrak Train In Lemont: Reports
The incident happened Tuesday morning in the 100 block of Main Street.
LEMONT, IL — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a train on Tuesday in Lemont, according to reports.
ABC7 reported the person was struck by an Amtrak train at 8:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Main Street. The train was going from Chicago to St. Louis.
Lemont Police said Metra Police is handling the investigation. Patch has reached out to Metra and Amtrak for more information.
