Pete's Fresh Market Announces Grand Opening

LEMONT, IL — After months of anticipation and several job fairs, Pete's Fresh Market is ready to open in Lemont. The business shared on its Facebook page that the Lemont store's grand opening will be Dec. 12.

Pete's Fresh Market, 1100 State St., will open at 9 a.m. Dec. 12. The business shared the first 500 customers will get a free tote and a chance to enter a giveaway.

The store, which was formerly going to be called "Market On State" fills the former Chipain's grocery store site. Chipain's closed in March 2017, and Pete's Fresh Market signed a lease for the space in April 2018.

Pete's Fresh Market completely renovated the space, and the parking lot outside the store also saw improvements with repaving and restriping.
