Planet Fitness Opening In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — Planet Fitness, a gym and fitness club, will be opening a new location in Lemont. According to the business' Facebook, the gym will open at 13406 Archer Ave., in the former OfficeMax building.

The Lemont OfficeMax closed in 2019, and the building has sat vacant since, only serving as a Spirit Halloween store during the Halloween season a few times.

On Planet Fitness' Facebook, the business said it did not have an official opening date yet.

Planet Fitness offers memberships which gives unlimited access to the gym; most locations are open 24 hours a day. Some locations also offer trainers or small group classes.

Nearby Planet Fitness locations are also in Woodridge, Bolingbrook and Lockport.
