Police Blotter: Speeding, Reckless Driving, No Driver’s License or Insurance

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lemont Police Department Jan. 1-6. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Jan. 1

No Driver’s License or Registration

Eduardo Zamora, 19, of the 5000 block of Hermitage in Chicago, was arrested at 8:35 p.m. at Archer Ave. and 127th St. He was charged with no valid driver’s license and no valid registration, and issued a Jan. 22 court date in Bridgeview.

Thursday, Jan. 3

Speeding, No Driver’s License, No Insurance

Arroyo B. Esteban, 30, of the 51000 block of El Camino Terrace in Orland Park, was arrested at 9:53 p.m. at McCarthy and Kromray roads. He was charged with speeding, no valid driver’s license and no insurance, and issued a Feb. 15 court date in Bridgeview.

Sunday, Jan. 6

Reckless Driving, Speeding

Mahmoud Salah, 18, of 705 Illinois St., was arrested at 11:07 p.m. in the 14600 block of Main St. He was charged with speeding over 40+ and reckless driving, and issued a Feb. 15 court date in Bridgeview.

Members of the public are reminded that these complaints contain only charges and are not proof of the defendant’s guilt.  A defendant is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial in which it is the government’s burden to prove his or her guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
