Police Blotter: Suspended Licenses, Domestic Battery

Suspended License, No Insurance, Expired Registration

Keisha S. Hicks, 38, of the 200 block of Henderson Ave. in Joliet, was arrested at 10:46 p.m. at Walker Road and Roscommon Way. She was charged with driving while license is suspended, no valid insurance and expired registration. Hicks was issued a Jan. 22 court date in Bridgeview.

Friday, Dec. 14

Suspended License, Failure to Signal

Daniel C. Lamb, 46, of the 16100 block of New Ave., was arrested at 12:35 a.m. at 127^th St. and Timberline Drive. He was charged with driving while license is suspended and failure to signal when required. Lamb was issued a Jan. 22 court date in Bridgeview.

Saturday, Dec. 15

Domestic Battery

Joseph G. Lacey, 47, of the 700 block of Ledochowski St., was arrested at 2:58 p.m. following an incident at that location. He was charged with domestic battery and appeared at the Bridgeview court house for a bond hearing.

Members of the public are reminded that these complaints contain only charges and are not proof of the defendant’s guilt.  A defendant is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial in which it is the government’s burden to prove his or her guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
