Re-Registration Required For Village's Emergency Notifications

The system provides residents with alerts about water delivery and restrictions, road closures, weather warnings and safety announcements.

LEMONT, IL — If you were previously signed up for the Village of Lemont's electronic emergency notifications, you will most likely need to re-register.

The Village uses Federal Signal's emergency notification system, which has received significant upgrades since it was first implemented. Due to those upgrades, the Village said users must now re-register to received notifications if they were previously registered any time before Sept. 23.

You can sign up online for the service.
