Scarecrow Trail, Fest Will Return Sept. 23

LEMONT, IL — The Scarecrow Trail contest will return once again this year to Lemont Township Community Center, 16300 Alba St. In addition to the contest, the Lemont Junior Woman's Club will host Scarecrow Fest on Sept. 23, from 2 to 5 p.m.

You will then be able to vote for your favorite scarecrow from Sept. 23 to Oct. 21.

If you'd like to decorate a scarecrow for the contest, you must register by Sept. 8. This year's theme is "Lemont through the Eras," so you will design your scarecrow in your favorite decade. Scarecrows must be dropped off between 9 a.m. and noon on Sept. 23.

Scarecrow Fest also feature a fun run, games, story times, raffles and more.
