Shoe Drive Held By Lemont Leo Club

You can drop off gently-used shoes through Jan. 31 at Lemont High School (Julia Street entrance), the CORE and the Centennial building.

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Leo Club is holding a Soles4Souls shoe drive until Jan. 31. The club, which is a younger version of the Lions Club, will donate the shoes to those in need.

The shoes will be donated to Soles4Souls, which is an organization that sends gently-used shoes to countries and people in need.

"Leo Club thought this would be a great way to bring the community together to help other communities miles away from our own," Charlotte Albrecht, president of the club and LHS senior, said.
