Special meeting to discuss J.P. McMahon trucking issue

Concerned residents are asked to attend a special meeting to update residents on this rezoning request. J. P. McMahon is requesting industrial zoning on New Ave. The Township will meet Thursday Nov. 2nd at 1115 Warner Ave. at 7:00 p.m. This business has been illegally operating on residential property without proper permitting for over a year.

If you are unable to attend please contact our cook county representative sean.morrison@cookcountyil.gov and express your concern for this intense rezoning in close proximity to homes and private wells. We need your help!

This matter will be decided on Nov. 15th by the Cook County Board.

The Township will be offering a bus for those residents who would like to attend the meeting in Chicago.
