SSCM Celebrates Catholic School's Week

SS. Cyril and Methodius started their Catholic School’s Week celebration on Sunday, January 31st with an Opening Mass celebrated by Archbishop Blase Cupich. Following mass, SSCM hosted an Open House and School Social.. On Monday, February 1st, the students celebrated a place or something they love with a Spirit Club dress down day. The students were able to come out of uniform in clothes that featured places or things they love. The students also had the opportunity to play board games with their Faith Partners in other grades. SSCM will also host a “Pack the Place” event at Gelsosomo’s Pizzeria from 5-10pm Monday night, where 50% of dine-in food sales donated back to SSCM’s Mothers’ Club and BSJ.

Tomorrow, February 2nd, SSCM will celebrate Teacher Appreciation day with a Disney or DC Marvel Spirit Club dress down day in addition to “Wheel of Wisdom” games in the afternoon. SSCM Mothers’ Club ”Crazy Sock Hop” in the evening.
