SSCM kicks off annual Lady Comet Classic and Emil Tournament

SS. Cyril and Methodius school is proud to announce hosting their annual Lady Comet Girls Basketball Classic as well as the annual Boys Basketball Emil Domagalski Tournament. The tournament games for both boys and girls teams began on Saturday, January 23rd and will continue on Tuesday, January 26 with a 7:00 pm boys basketball game followed by an 8:00 pm girls basketball game in the Lemont High School Gym. On Tuesday night, the boys from Old Quarry will be competing against the boys team from St. Als/St. Pats. The basketball games will continue on Wednesday night with girls teams from Old Quarry playing St. Mary Immaculate at 7:00 pm and the boys teams from SS. Cyril and Methodius competing against St. Mary Immaculate.

The tournament will end on Saturday, January 30th spotlighting the 4th grade boys and girls basketball teams. SSCM invites all fans to come and ”pack the place” for the 8th grade girls and boys games starting at 4:00 pm in the Lemont High School Gym.
