Stephen Street Railroad Crossing To Close For Five Days

LEMONT, IL — The Stephen Street railroad crossing in downtown Lemont will close for five days, starting Sept. 12, according to the Village of Lemont.

CN Railroad performed an inspection of track condition, which resulted in the need to close the Stephen Street crossing, the Village said in a release.

The closure will begin at 9 a.m. Sept. 12, and will be closed through Sept. 16.

Both the Lemont Street and Holmes Street crossings will be open to exit and enter the downtown area.
