Tesla FC Finds Early Success and Growth

In May 2016 Coach Branko Smileski made the most of a sad situation. His beloved Lemont Raiders were absorbed by another club and would no longer play in Lemont. Coach Branko decided that he would go out on his own and start a new Lemont soccer club. He used his love for teaching soccer and tight personal relationships he developed with players and their families as collateral. Coach was well equipped for the task at hand. He has a long and distinguished coaching resume which includes playing professionally in Europe. People who know Branko will use "passionate" in any description of the man. Lots of late night planning, recruiting and negotiating gave birth to a soccer club called Tesla FC. His hard work eventually brought Tesla FC to their new home at the beautiful Mt. Assisi campus.

While Coach Branko continually works to forge new relationships in Lemont, his club has already seen early success. Tesla has won plenty of matches and tournaments. Currently, the club has all three levels ranked in the top ten of NISL 2017 Spring Pre-Rankings and U10 is ranked #1 in the South Division. Despite early success and steady growth, Tesla FC has a leader who won't rest. Branko is constantly looking to improve the organization by adding dedicated coaches and hosting more camps and clinics. Tesla is a tight-knit club that values strong relationships with it's families and is one of the most affordable in the area.
