Trees, Branches Down In Lemont; Over 700 Without Power

LEMONT, IL — Several trees and tree limbs have been knocked down after a storm with high winds moved through Lemont Monday afternoon, Lemont Police said. Police are cautioning motorists to use caution while driving as branches are in the road.

The public works department is working to open roads.

According to the ComEd outage map, 522 customers are without power in Lemont and 197 have no power in Lemont Township. As of 5:30 p.m., none of the outages had a restoration time listed.
