Veterans Drive Held At Lemont Library

LEMONT, IL — There are a few more days to donate items to the Lemont Library's Veterans Drive, which benefits the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans.

The library will accept donations until Dec. 1.

New paper goods, linens, toiletries and office supplies are needed, according to the Library. The donation wishlist includes:

• Paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, garbage bags, garbage cans for kitchen or bath, mops and mop pads, vacuum cleaner and brooms
• Microwaves, coffee pots, toaster, dishes, pots and pans, paper plates, napkins
• Laundry pods, dryer sheets, bleach, toilet bowl cleaner, scrub brush, toilet bowl brush, bathroom cleaner
• Lip balm, floss, body wash, razors, hand soap, shampoo and deodorant
